David     Spanish Voiceover Artist

Born at the end of the seventies and raised during the eighties in Barcelona, Spain, David is bilingual in both European Spanish (Iberian/Castilian) and Catalan.

A quarter analog and 75% digital man, with a passion for media and communication, David has been working from his home studio for the past 15 years. He has lent his voice to various brands and characters for both national and international companies. Some notable projects include:

  • Providing the voice for sea and water sports reports on the Spanish public TV channel Teledeporte since 2017.

  • Red Bull TV utilizing his voice for all TV imaging recordings in European Spanish during 2018 and 2019.

  • Recording weekly audio commercials for Spotify Spain.

  • Being one of the talents in the roster of Spanish voiceovers for the TV show
    "Europe Weekly," broadcasted by the French/German TV channel Arte.

  • Recording commercials and various audio visual content for companies such as Lavazza, Zespri, Mapfre, FNAC, Adidas, Amazon, Special Olympics, Burger King,
    Red Cross, Mazda, and Fujifilm.

  • Dubbing main characters in European Spanish for different Netflix shows like "Dile que sí," "72 animales peligrosos: Asia," "Magic for humans," and "Colocados en la cocina," as well as some secondary characters in other productions.

  • Narrating audiobooks for Storytel and Audible.

  • Providing the voiceover talent behind the IVR of Caixabank, the third-largest
    bank in Spain.
     

David has attended the international VO conferences: "One Voice Conference" in London, UK (2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023) and "VO Atlanta" in Atlanta, USA (2019).

He has honed his voice-over and dubbing techniques through various

training programs:

  • Biannual training of Dubbing Actor at ECAD.

  • Advertising voiceover training at ECAD.

  • Audiobook reader training at ECAD, with Paul Alan Ruben.

  • "Estill Voice Training", with Helen Rowson.
